One of the biggest credit unions in NY State, with branches across the country and over 30,000 ATMs, came to us for a complete ground-up redesign of their visual identity on all digital channels. The deliverables list was extensive, consisting of overarching campaign branding, an immersive responsive website experience and supporting mobile concepts, development of native apps for iOS and Android, an extensive video campaign, social media posts and ATM topper advertising.
A campaign of this scale would typically take up the better part of a year — we went from concept to implementation in about four and a half months.

Setting the overall design direction for the campaign, we did extensive UI/UX for the site. To satisfy compliance and federal regulations, hundreds of pages needed to be built to provide a robust banking experience and simplify access to services for members.
DESIGN
As we set the overall design direction for the project, our color palette and typography selections were key to creating the tone for the brand. We used vivid, intimate imagery to capture the imagination and to create an elegant look and feel.
TESTIMONIALS
We focused on building brand trust through personal stories and a series of video testimonials shared both on the site and through a social media campaign.
BIOGRAPHY VIDEOS
A series of biography videos of the staff humanized the financial institution and helped grow awareness of the services they offer.
PARALLAX
We brought some whimsy to the site by developing a colorful parallax scrolling animation to illustrate the back-story of Actors FCU. Here are composites of each section:
A P P S
We consulted on the design and UX/functionality of 2 apps developed by Actors FCU: CardNav and the Actors FCU Smartphone App. Extensive testing on multiple platforms allowed for a smooth roll-out. To coincide with their debuts, we were also tasked with producing awareness videos for each product.
CARDNAV
The CardNav App allows a user to turn on or off their card remotely as well as set-up spending and transaction push-alerts to their phone.
SMARTPHONE APP
The Actors FCU Smartphone App allows members to do all their banking with their mobile device—including remote deposit.
ATM TOPPER ADS
Actors FCU capitalized on the latest vertical source of revenue by commissioning us to develop content for their network of 30,000 ATM’s. A Topper is a digital ‘billboard’ that sits atop ATMS. We used eye-catching motion animations to grab attention in a busy retail environment as well as inspirational imagery to connect emotionally with consumers. Our ads included on-screen QR codes to drive traffic to the Actors FCU website. Here are the composites of one of the campaigns:
